Some people like it better without capers.
Ingredients: |
1c. purple cabbage, finely chopped

1c. carrots, cureld/shredded

1c. celery, minced

1/2 c. pecans, chopped

1/2 c. dried cranberries

1/4 c. capers

Dressing:

juice of 2 small limes or 1 big one

1.5 Tbsp. honey

sea salt to taste (you don't need much-capers are salty)

1 Tbsp. olive oil

2 Tbsp. balsamic vinegar

fresh ground black pepper to taste

|
Directions: |
Mix/shake the dressing in a small covered container first so that it can sit for a while. Combine all the salad ingredients in a large bowl. They need to be chopped as small as possible. Shake up the dressing just before you pour it over the salad. Give the salad a final stirring before serving. You'll love the texture and color of this chopped salad.
