My father in law makes this...it's very easy and very tasty. If I can do this, just about everyone can.
Ingredients: |
One can Pillsbury Pizza Crust

One package of Johnsonville Italians (5-6 per package)

2 cups (8 ounces) of mozzarella cheese (finely shredded)

Italian seasoning

Sea Salt (optional

|

|
Directions: |
Cut up italian sausage and cook on stove making it into "ground italian" when finished.

Unroll the Pizza crust in a greased pan and spread out. Cut with kitchen scissors or knive on each long side of the crust and cut only about 2-3 inches in (leaving the center of the crust uncut).

Spread the cooked sausage in the middle of the pizza crust and top with all 8 ounces of cheese. Sprinkle italian seasonings. Criss-cross the cut pieces of pizza crust to seal the sausage and cheese (and form a calzone-like appearance). Sprinkle Sea Salt carefully (optional - this is already a very salty dish, so sprinkle lightly).

Cook in the Oven for 20-25 minutes at 375 degrees.
